Army led the tables with seven gold, three silver and six bronze medals at the National Winter Games in Gulmarg.

Gulmarg, which is emerging as a global winter tourism destination will play host to National Winter Games next month to bolster its reckoning at the international level.

The F1 ace won the award for the third time. Croatian Alpine skiing star Janica Kostelic was voted the European Sportswoman of the Year for 2002.
